Summer 2016 Camps and Clinics in Tramonto

Future Stars holds a number of camps and clinics for Tramonto residents.

Basketball: Junior NBA and Junior WNBA Leagues

The Junior NBA and Junior WNBA leagues are for kids aged 5 to 14. Boys’ and girls’ leagues are held in North Peoria, while the Junior NBA Summer Basketball League Southwest Valley is held at the Goodyear Odyssey Preparatory Institute.

Locations for the camps include:

  • Sunset Heights in Peoria

The Summer 2016 Lindsey Berg NIKE Volleyball League

Designed for kids between the ages of 8 and 14, the Summer 2016 Lindsey Berg NIKE Volleyball League, which takes place in North Peoria from May 21 to June 25, will be held at Joy Christian School and Glendale Preparatory.

Archery Camp

Kids aged 7 to 12 can attend archery camp at Candeo School in Peoria. The camps are June 6 to June 9 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and July 18 through July 21 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.).

Cheerleading

Side Line Cheer for kids aged 5 through 12 takes place a Joy Christian School in Glendale. The dates are July 18 through 22, and classes are between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Dance

Hip-Hop and Jazz Dance Camp for kids between the ages of 7 and 12 takes place at Joy Christian School in Glendale. The camp dates are June 6 through June 10, and classes are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Martial Arts Camp

The two locations for this year’s Martial Arts Camp are Glendale’s Joy Christian School and Peoria’s Candeo School. Kids aged 7 to 12 are welcome to attend either session – the one between July 11 and July 15 or the one between July 18 and July 22. Classes are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day.

Multi-Sport Camps

The Multi-Sport camps, held at the Vistancia Rec Center in Peoria, are for kids aged 7 to 12. They cover basketball, soccer and volleyball. Camps take place June 6 through 9 (classes are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) and June 20 through June 23 (classes are from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.).

Soccer Camp

Held at Glendale Prep in Peoria, this year’s soccer camp is open to kids aged 7 to 12. The dates are July 27 through July 30, and classes begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11 a.m.

Volleyball Camps

There are several volleyball camps for kids aged 8 to 14. They’ll be held at Glendale Prep, Sunset Heights, Anthem Prep and Goodyear Odyssey Prep.

STEaM Programs for Summer 2016 Near Tramonto

Several STEaM programs for kids aged 5 to 14 are taking place near Tramonto this summer, as well, including:
